The Firs self catering

Welcome to Pendarren House Outdoor Education Centre Pendarren House Outdoor Education Centre is a large country house set in the Brecon Beacons National Park. It lies in the Grywyne valley between Table Mountain and Sugarloaf Mountain, and has stunning views across the Usk valley.

	The house is maintained by Haringey's Children and Young Persons Service, part of Haringey Council. Haringey have been providing residential adventurous outdoor education courses here since 1972. The activities offered are a mixture of on and off-site venues so that visitors can gain the most from their visit and have the opportunity to challenge themselves in the natural environment. Courses can range from day visits to week long residential courses.

Pendarren House has a range of accommodation that is suitable for a range of groups (10 or more persons) including:
Haringey schools (who have priority booking)
Schools outside Haringey
Other groups of young people and youth service
Clubs
D of E groups
Groups of friends, families and colleagues
Organisations for team building and development training
Professional development courses, NGB awards

The experienced and qualified staff can provide a wide range of activities and experiences that will cater for the needs of the group whether they are young people or adults.

Pendarren House offers residential adventurous outdoor activity packages with full board, equipment, instruction and transport.

Haringey schools have priority booking but all vacant periods including term time, weekends and school holidays are available to any groups. The self-catering Firs bungalow is available year round. Contact the Centre for availability and prices.
