Friends of Pendarren
|
| The Friends of Pendarren is a charity set up by supporters of the Centre to enhance the education of pupils by developing relationships between staff, parents, pupils and the local community, and by engaging in activities and fund raising to develop the facilities available for pupils at Pendarren.
The Friends are currently providing funding for a storyteller as an evening activity promoting creative writing by pupils. They are also looking at the provision of more accessibility equipment for pupils with special needs.
Parents, past pupils who are now adults, teachers and school staff who use Pendarren and members of the local community are all encouraged to join The Friends and provide support in any way they can.
